the proposed site location will be at the base of the stairs between Jackson square and the mississippi river.

a set of canvas screens will display animations created by the movement of pedestrians within a public space. each drawing on each canvas will project “animated snapshots” at different time intervals. images captured by an overhead camera will trigger processing software to create abstraction of circulation patterns.

pedestrians can directly interact and manipulate images on canvases in real-time. images will be continued to be manipulated and transformed at 15 and 30 minute time intervals.
